Welcome!

As you know, Jason and I are adopting a baby.  We've decided to name him Jordan Anthony Richards.  This will be the story of our son's arrival into the world and the process of making him part of our family.  We are all (including big brother Ty) nervous and excited about Jordan's arrival.  On March 13, 2009, we traveled to Michigan.  Jason drove the mini-van with all the baby stuff and I flew up so I could go to Jordan's ultra sound appointment.  I finally got to see him!  He has big, fat cheeks, full lips and the cutest toes you've ever seen in 2-D!  Everything looked good and the technician estimates that he weighs around 8.3 pounds!  Our birth mom is going to the doctor on Tuesday and we will find out if her doctor will induce labor since she is full term as of Monday.  We are praying that she will since Jordan is a big boy and she is full term.  Pictures of the ultra sound will be posted soon!
