Jordan is out of the hospital and settling in...

Well, we spent the night in a consult room slightly larger than a bathroom. Jason even slept on the floor. We were forced to move out of our room because the maternity floor was so busy that they had no more room! We felt like Joseph and Mary in the manger! LOL. We made it through, up every few hours to feed Jordan and watch out for his upset tummy (he swallowed a lot of stuff during his delivery, so he didn't feel good). We hung out with our birth mom this morning and said our good-byes - it is so bittersweet because, while we are in love with this new little one in our lives, our birth mom could never even imagine the love in our hearts we have for her. After Jordan got his foot stuck for blood tests and cried, we finally left the hospital to give Jordan his first car ride. A lovely Hatian nurse named Cathy walked us downstairs and chatted with me about how gorgeous Jordan is while Jason got the van. We drove home in awe of our little boy (we need to figure out a way to keep his head up in that car seat while also keeping him elevated for his tummy!) Then he ate, pooped, pee'd all over his daddy (we got it on tape and it is sooo funny) and then fell right to sleep. But not before we got some great pictures! Here they are...
